BIOGENIC STIMULATORS (grech, bios life + gennao to create, make; synonym: products of preservation of fabrics, stimulators of a biological origin) — biologically active agents which are formed in the isolated animal and vegetable fabrics in the course of their adaptation to unfavorable conditions. B. pages are formed also in a live organism during its adaptation to unfavorable conditions: at radiation, injuries, inflammatory processes. A founder of the doctrine about B. page as activators of protective and regenerator functions of an organism is V. P. Filatov.

The chemical nature of B. of page is insufficiently studied. They easily pass from the worrying fabrics into an aqueous extract. The acid fraction of fabric extracts has the greatest activity: on acceleration of regeneration of an epithelium of eyes of a frog its effect corresponds to effect of an integral extract. In acid fraction dicarboxylic and tricarboxylic acids and oxyacids of a fatty series, nonlimiting aromatic and phenolic acids, humic acids with polyphenolic groups are identified. The leading role belongs probably to dicarboxylic acids since those extracts as a part of which prevails apple are most effective, lemon, amber and wine to - that (see. Carboxylic acids ). From nitrogen-containing substances as B. of page hl are active. obr. the arginine and ammonia promoting transfer of phosphorus on adenylic system. Efficiency of fabric extracts is defined also by the microelements which are contained in them. Thus, B. pages represent a difficult complex of substances. The qualitative and quantitative structure of B. of page in fabric extracts is changeable and partially depends on properties of the fabric: in extract of an aloe amber, isolemon, apple and wine acids prevail; in extract from bull skin — amber, milk and oxalic; in lemon dirt and peat extracts — humic acids (see. Humin substances ).

The mechanism of influences of B. of page on an organism consists in change of activity of a number of enzymes. At the same time in one bodies the oxidative chain link of cellular respiration, and in others — anoksidativny amplifies.

Believe that activation happens thanks to B.'s accession by the village to protein of enzyme. Change of activity of enzymes leads to endocrine reorganization: formation of the tropny hormones of a hypophysis causing strengthening of incretory function of adrenal glands, seed plants, thyroid and pancreatic glands increases. As a result of a uvelicha intensity of inclusion of marked amino acids, phosphorus and iron in erythrocytes, proteins of a blood plasma and fabric of internal and hemopoietic bodies is howled, updating of sulfur-containing mucopolysaccharides accelerates. Change of tension of exchange processes explains why B. pages strengthen effects of one pharmaceuticals (penicillin, adrenaline, insulin, etc.) and weaken effects of others (caffeine, strychnine, strophanthin, Phenaminum, etc.) .

Extract, linimentum and juice belong to the drugs containing B. of page aloe (see), Peloidinum (see), is peloidodistillit (see), Torfotum (see), FIBS (see), extract and suspension of a placenta, Gumisolum (see), vitreous (see), etc.

B.'s action by the village is not specific. They are appointed for the purpose of strengthening of adaptive and defense reactions. Most widely B. pages apply in ophthalmology — at blepharites, diseases of a cornea and a retina, neuritis and an atrophy of an optic nerve, the progressing short-sightedness etc. In B.'s surgery of page use for strengthening of regenerator processes at bone injuries, it is long not healing wounds and ulcers, for acceleration of a rassasyvaniye of hems and commissures; in dermatology — at a lupus, radiation injuries of skin, hron, eczema, heavy neurodermatitises. B. pages have favorable effect at subacute and hron, inflammatory diseases of a female genital. In all cases of B. of page apply in a complex with specific methods of treatment. Property B. of page to activate fermental and endocrine systems can be used with success in geriatrics.

Contraindications to B.'s use by the village — see articles on separate drugs.
