TsIKLOGRAFIYa (Greek kyklos a circle, a disk + grapho to write, represent) — a method of studying of dynamics of the movements of a body of the person or his separate parts by consecutive registration (photography) of tags strengthened on moving parts of a body.

For the first time photography of separate phases of the movement was offered in the 80th 19 century fr. scientific E. Marey, the Subsequent improvement of a method C. and expansion of spheres of its use is connected with Gilbert's works (F. Century of Gilberth, 1909), N. A. Bernshteyna (1926), etc.

N. A. Bernstein, e.g., offered a kimotsiklografiya (see) — continuous registration of a trajectory of the movement of extremities.

On the basis of the analysis of records of the movement of a body or its separate parts (the so-called cyclogram) obtain data on a trajectory of the movement of separate points of a body, speeds of their movement.

C. it is widely used for studying of various labor processes (work at the machine, the movements of drivers, musicians, etc.), and also for the analysis of a physical activity of a body of the person at problem solving of prosthetics, diagnosis nevrol. the frustration connected with disturbance of movements. C. it is also widely applied in biomechanics (see) during the studying of various locomotory movements (walking, run, jumps, etc.).

One of modifications of a tsiklografiya is the kardiotsiklografiya (see) allowing to register a rhythm of cordial activity and duration of phases of each cardial cycle.
