TROFIMOV Vladimir Vasilyevich (sort. in 1915) — the Soviet doctor, the organizer of health care, the state and public figure, the candidate of medical sciences (1968). The member of the CPSU since 1942. The labor way began with 16-year age the worker. In 1940 the military of f-t of the 2nd MMI ended. From 1939 to 1955 served in ranks of the Soviet Army. In days of the Great Patriotic War was in field army on the Western, 3rd, 2nd, 1st Belarusian fronts where there passed the way from the commander of MSB to the chief of department of shots of sanitary department of army. In 1946 — 1951 worked at responsible positions in the Head military-medical department of the Ministry of Defence of the USSR, from 1951 to 1954 — in the office of the Central Committee of the CPSU. From April, 1954 to April, 1983, except for short tenure of the head of department of external relations of M3 of the USSR (1962), V. V. Trofimov worked in M3 of RSFSR at first as the deputy minister (till 1962), and then the Minister of Health of RSFSR. Since 1983 f-that manages department of social hygiene and the organization of health care of specialization and improvements of doctors Moscow medical dental in-that of N. A. Semashko.
In 29 years of work in M3 of RSFSR
V. V. Trofimov made a powerful contribution to performance by the planned CPSU of the program of development of the Soviet national health care. Under its management of M3 of RSFSR carried out a lot of work on expansion and strengthening of material and technical resources of health care, increase in level and quality of medical aid to the population of the republic, opening of new medical higher education institutions in the districts of the Urals, Siberia and the Far East, on training of doctors and average medics. On its initiative the Head department of research in-t and coordination of scientific research of M3 of RSFSR, integrated with Academic medical council was for the first time created that promoted improvement of the management of scientific institutions of the republic, planning of their work, acceleration of implementation of achievements of science in practice. In M3 of RSFSR the special service «Rosmedtekhni» with large workshops and the plants in many respects promoting improvement of hardware was organized to lay down. - the prof. and a dignity. - epid. institutions of RSFSR.
V. V. Trofimov is an author more than 60 scientific works, including monographs «Health Care of the Russian Federation in 50 Years», in a cut the deep analysis of development of health care in RSFSR since the pre-revolutionary period to the middle of the 60th of 20 century is given. He actively participates in work on creation of the Soviet medical encyclopedias, is an associate editor and the editor-in-chief of editorial department «Social hygiene and the organization of health care» of BME, the author of a number of large encyclopedic articles: «Copper
tsinsky education», «Prevention» (together with Yu. P. Lisitsin), «Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic», etc.
V. V. Trofimov was a delegate XXIII, XXIV, XXV and XXVI congresses of the CPSU, was elected the deputy of the Supreme Council of RSFSR of the 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 convocations, was the first editor of the Health Care of the Russian Federation magazine.
It is awarded by the Orders of Lenin, the October Revolution, the Labour Red Banner (two), Patriotic wars of the II degree (two). Red Star, Friendship of the people, Sign of Honour and medals.
