THIODIPINUM (Thiodipinum, joint venture. B) — antineoplastic cytostatic means alkylating like action. 1-4 Dee [N, N '-di (ethylene) - Thiophosphamidum] piperazin; With 12 H 24 S 2 N 6 P 2  :

White crystal powder, water-insoluble, alcohol, benzene, soluble in chloroform, t pl 202 — 203 °, pier. weight (weight) 378,45.

On antineoplastic activity and the mechanism of action it is similar to other derivatives of ethylene imine (to Dipinum, Thiophosphamidum, etc.), but unlike them it is effective at appointment inside. DL 50 for mice at single use makes 170 mg of kg.

T. appoint at leukemic forms of a chronic lymphoid leukosis, a myelosis (see. Leukoses ), lymphogranulomatosis (see), and also at cancer of kidneys (see). The daily dose inside at hemoblastoses (see) makes 5 — 20 mg (in 1 — 3 reception); the course dose can be brought to 750 mg. At cancer of a kidney appoint 30 mg daily during 3 weeks. If necessary conduct repeated courses. To children drug is appointed on 0,1 mg/kg a day; at good tolerance the dose is increased up to 0,5 mg/kg a day (the daily dose is distributed on 3 — 4 receptions).

At treatment by Thiodipinum it is necessary systematic gematol. control. In tolerable doses of T. causes a moderate leukopenia and does not influence an erythrogenesis. At overdose or hypersensitivity the leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting are possible. In cases of sharp oppression of a hemogenesis reception of T. stop and carry out the haemo stimulating therapy.

Use of drug contraindicated at leykopenichesky, subleukemic forms and slowly proceeding chronic lpmfoleykoz, disturbance of functions of the liver and kidneys expressed to thrombocytopenia, a leukopenia and anemia.

Form of release: tablets on 0,005 g (5 mg) and 0,01 g (10 mg). Store in the cool, protected from light place.
