STOLYPIN Pavel Grigoryevich (1899 — 1970) — the Soviet doctor, the figure in the field of the Soviet military medicine, the candidate of medical sciences (1947).
Lieutenant general of medical service (1953). The member of the CPSU since 1919.
Was involved in Civil war as the private, and then the political worker. In 1927 ended VMA. Upon termination of academy held a number of positions in troops, became the large specialist in the field of medical ensuring fighting of troops. In the period of the Great Patriotic War of the deputy chief of Sanitary management of the Northwest front, since October, 1943 the chief of medical service of the 2nd Ukrainian, since June, 1945 — the Transbaikal front. Successfully directed medical providing troops in Korsun-Shevchenkovskaya, Yassko-Kitpinevskaya and some other large operations for what among the few figures of medical service of the Soviet Army it is awarded the order of a military leader.
After the end of war the chief of VMA of S. M. Kirov, from 1952 to 1955 the chief of the Head military-medical department of MO USSR held senior positions in military-medical service of Armed Forces, since 1950. In 1956 passed to scientific and pedagogical work and headed department of military preparation 1 MMM. It published a number of the works devoted to the organization of medical providing troops and preparation military-medical, shots.
It is awarded by the Orders of Lenin, the Red Banner (four), Bogdan Khmelnytsky of the 2nd degree, Patriotic war of the 1st degree, the Red Star (two) and many medals.
