STAKANNY TESTS — a macroscopic research of two or three portions of urine received consistently at a single urination.

Pages of the item are widely used in daily the Urals. to practice, is more often at inspection of men. They are applied when patol. impurity in urine (pus, blood) are so big that are defined visually.

Dvukhstakanny test, or Thompson's test, is carried out as follows. Before test of the patient shall hold urine during 3 — 5 hours, then fill consistently two vessels: in the first there have to be about 100 ml of urine, in the second — other urine. At trekhstakanny test of the patient strictly consistently fills 3 vessels (in the first — an initial portion, and in the third — the last portion of urine). Trekhstakanny test is applied also in combination with massage of a prostate or seed bubbles. At such option of the patient consistently fills 2 vessels, having left a part of urine in a bladder. Then make massage of a prostate, later to-rogo the remained urine of the patient fills the third vessel. Trekhstakanny test of Yadasson is carried out with washing of the forefront of an urethra through the nelatonovsky catheter entered into the canal; rinsing waters place in the 1st glass, then the patient fills consistently the 2nd and 3rd glasses. Diagnostic value of this test same, as well as dvukhstakanny therefore in a wedge, practice has enough conducting dvukhstakanny test.

At women usually investigate an average portion of urine to exclude impurity of allocations to it from genitalias. However, carrying out and usual S. of the item after careful pretreatment of outside genitalias is possible.

The research of urine is made right after an urination; it allows to resolve approximately an issue of localization patol. process in uric system. Macroscopic impurity only in the first portion demonstrate to what their source is patol. process in an urethra (an urethritis, injury of an urethra, a tumor). Hypodispersion patol. impurity in all portions of urine it is observed at localization of process in a kidney or an ureter, and also in a bladder if patol. substrate comes to urine from an affected area of a bubble constantly (e.g., at the bleeding tumor of a bladder). If changes of urine are defined only the last portion, assume that patol. the center is either in a bladder, or in a prostate — pus, slime or blood are emitted at the end of the act of an urination, as a result of reduction of these bodies. Emergence patol. impurity the last portion of urine after massage of a prostate or seed bubbles confirms inflammatory process in these bodies (prostatovesiculitis). The total gross hematuria (blood in all portions) is a valuable diagnostic character of destructive process, napr, tumors of uric bodies.
