STABILOGRAFIYA (Latin stabilis which is standing on the own two feet steady + Greek grapho to write, represent) — graphic registration of fluctuations of the center of gravity of a body of the person in a standing position.

Pages apply in clinical and medicobiological trials of a functional state vestibular analyzer (see), mechanisms of maintenance of a pose (see. Pose ), a tone of the muscular device (see. Tone ).

Fluctuations of the center of gravity are written down by means of the stabilograf representing the rigid platform leaning on elastic elements, on a cut there is inspected. Deformation of elastic elements under the influence of pressure is perceived by converters, usually tenzorezistivny type. The converters definitely included in the measuring electric circuit allocate redistribution of efforts in support owing to movement of the center of gravity in the frontal and sagittal directions. Signals from the measuring electric circuit are given on the registrar reproducing on a paper strip of movement of the center of gravity (stabilogramm) respectively in the frontal and sagittal planes. During the giving of signals on canals of horizontal and vertical development of the two-coordinate registrar receive a vector stabilogramma.

Serve as characteristics of fluctuations of the center of gravity: number of fluctuations in unit of time, the period of each fluctuation (in seconds), amplitude of fluctuations (in millimeters).
