SNORE. Most of researchers believe that snore relaxation is the cornerstone during sleep of muscles of a soft palate (see), a throat (see), language (see) and retraction of language at position of the sleeping person on spin.

Snore is more often observed at the persons inclined to completeness having a short, thick neck, the thickened soft palate, the extended uvula that causes narrowing of a pharynx during sleep. With effort

overcoming this narrowed space limited to pliable educations inhaled air causes vibration of the weakened palatine velum.

Emergence of storage is promoted by disturbances of nasal breath, especially at obturation of a nasal cavity polyps (see the Nose, diseases), a hypertrophy or hypostasis of a mucous membrane of nasal sinks, adenoides (see), tumors of a nasopharynx (see the Drink). In some cases sanitation of a nasal cavity, a nasopharynx and adnexal bosoms of a nose (see) leads to normalization of function of a soft palate and reduction or disappearance of snore.

Snore can arise also at the patients who are in unconsciousness, napr at severe craniocereberal injuries (see. Craniocereberal injury), frustration of cerebral circulation (see), etc. Yu. M. Ovchinnikov.
