ShEREShchYoVSKOGO — TURNER the SYNDROME (N. A. Shereshevsky, owls. endocrinologist, 1885 — 1961; H. N of Turner, amer. endocrinologist, sort. in 1892) — genetically caused form of primary agonadizm. It is described for the first time in 1925 by N. A. She-reshevsky, and then in 1938 Turner. However in the world literature the term «Turner's syndrome» is more often applied (see Turner a syndrome).
