ROTBERGERA WEDNESDAY (C. J. Rothberger, is mute. bacteriologist, sort. in 1871) — the differential and diagnostic environment for definition of the reducing (recovering) ability of bacteria.

For R.'s preparation by the village for 10 ml of the melted nutrient agar add 3 — 4 drops of saturated native solution of neutral red; will sterilize fractionally; test tubes with Wednesday cool in vertical position. R.'s use by the village is based on ability of various bacteria in the course of metabolism to emit the reducing substances on Wednesday, to-rye react with a number of dyes and decolour them.

The river of page lost the practical value as a result of use of more perfect differential and diagnostic environments (see. Differential and diagnostic environments ).
