ERITROPSYYa (erythropsia; Greek erythros red + opsis sight) — disturbance of vision, at Krom all visible is represented in red color.

Red vision can arise at persons with normal color perception at illumination of eyes bright light (e.g., proceeding from the surface of snow which is brightly lit with the sun), sometimes at a mydriasis at-

ropiny, and also is observed after extraction of a cataract (see the Aphakia), at big defect of an iris (see the Coloboma). Does not demand special treatment. Prevention E. — wearing light-protective glasses.
