RECKLINGHAUSEN DISEASE ( F. D. Recklinghausen , it is mute. pathologist, 1833 — 1910; synonym neurofibromatosis) — the disease which is characterized by development of multiple neurofibromas and neurinoma in skin, hypodermic cellulose, neuroplexes, trunks and roots and also formation of a nevus pigmentosus on skin and mucous membranes — see.
