PREECLAMPSIA

PREECLAMPSIA (praeeclampsia; lat. prae-ahead, before + an eclampsia; synonym eclampsism) — the late toxicosis of pregnant women which is characterized by a headache, a vision disorder (flashing, misting), nausea, abdominal pains, diarrhea and preceding developing of an attack of an eclampsia — see.
