PHYSIOTHERAPEUTIC CABINS of YoT (about t d e l e N and e) — the structural division of treatment and prevention facility intended for holding physiotherapeutic procedures.

Rooms for holding physiotherapeutic procedures shall be dry and light, height of the room — not less than 3 m. For protection against action of the electromagnetic fields created by devices for microwave therapy (see. During the procedure of UF-ob-lucheniya the nurse shall put on safety spectacles with dark glasses.

For purification of air of harmful chemical substances in rooms F. to. and FO establish positive-pressure ventilation (see). Heating of paraffin and ozokerite, preparation of solutions for artificial hydrosulphuric bathtubs, storage of portion bottles with solution of radon carry out in hoods with a speed of the movement of air not less than 0,7 m/s.

Medical staff F. to. and FO has the shortened working hours and additional annual vacation. The extra charge to a salary is established to the medical staff working at devices for UVCh-therapy or in rooms where treatment is carried out by dirt, hydrosulphuric, sulphurous, carbonic bathtubs, and also the medical staff occupied with preparation of radonic bathtubs.

All personnel F. to. and FO is obliged to undergo medical inspection of 1 — 2 time a year (see. Medical examination). Work in F. to. and FO is prohibited the persons having the hypertension of the III stage, psychoneuroses, epilepsy expressed by disturbances of cerebral circulation. On devices for the microwave oven - and UVCh-therapies do not allow to work also persons under 18. Pregnant women are exempted from work with generators of electromagnetic oscillations.

In the organization of work F. to. and FO at the present stage allocate the increasing value for the factors facilitating work of medical staff. Use washing machines for washing of hydrophilic laying, drying ovens with electroheating, the medical clock with an audible signal (buzzer) informing on the end of the procedure, mobile little tables for the portable equipment, an intercom, etc. - and mud baths enter automation of a fence, heating and supply of dirt into water in to lay down. offices, fillings of bathtubs with water.

Number of physiotherapists in F. to. and FO of BC depends on quantity of hospital beds, in F. to. policlinics — from the number of the doctors conducting reception.

Number of nurses on physical therapy in F. to. and FO establish at the rate of 1 position on 15 thousand conventional physiotherapeutic units a year (for conventional physiotherapeutic unit work is taken over, on carrying out the cut is required 8 min.).

The physical therapy nurse carries out the physiotherapeutic procedures appointed by the doctor, watches their portability patients, makes the schedule of visit by patients F. to., regulates a flow of patients in an office, controls a state and the correct operation of physiotherapeutic devices (see the Nurse).

The obligatory officially approved documentation of work F. to. and FO are a dossier (see Documentation medical), the magazine of registration of briefing according to the accident prevention, the control technical journal on repair of the equipment and its routine maintenance. Official documents are also passport F. to. or FO containing the characteristic of the room, the list of the available devices and terms of their operation, the staff list, the log-book of primary patients.

Main indicators of activity F. to. and FO serve number of the patients who received treatment, and the number of the performed physiotherapeutic procedures (not less than 15 thousand a year on each physical therapy nurse).
