PERSIANINOV Leonid Semenovich (1908 — 1978) — the Soviet obstetrician-gynecologist, the academician of AMH (1965), zasl. scientist of BSSR (1958), winner of the State award USSR (1968), Hero of Socialist Work (1977).
In 1931 Leningrad medical in-t ended the 2nd. From 1936 to 1941 worked in obstetric clinic Kazan in-that improvements of doctors under the leadership of V. S. Gruzdev. In the period of the Great Patriotic War (1941 — 1945) was the leading surgeon of PPG. In 1951 protected dokt, the thesis about a role of humoral factors in approach of childbirth. Since 1951 the department chair of obstetrics and gynecology Minsk medical in-that, then the 2nd MMI (1958— 1967). From 1967 to 1978 the director of the All-Russian Research Institute of obstetrics and gynecology of M3 of the USSR and at the same time the department chair of obstetrics and gynecology of the 1st MMI. The chief obstetrician-gynecologist of M3 of the USSR (1959 — 1962), and from 1962 to 1978 — the Fourth head department M3 of the USSR.
L. S. Persianinov published apprx. 400 scientific works, including 9 managements and 17 monographs devoted generally to problems of obstetric traumatism; resuscitation and anesthesiology in an obstetric gine-kologicheskoy to practice, prevention of anti-and perinatal pathology and mortality. Developed questions of diagnosis of hysterorrheses, uses of intra arterial hemotransfusion in obstetric and gynecologic practice. It obtained new data on physiology and pathology of sokratitelny activity of a uterus at the time of delivery, the role of neurohumoral factors in emergence of patrimonial activity is specified, changes of cellular and subcellular structures in the course of reduction of a myometrium are revealed.
L. S. Persianinov was engaged in development of new methods of regulation of sokratitelny activity of a uterus, obtaining the objective information about a condition of a fruit during pregnancy and childbirth; implemented an electroanalgesia, new original methods of treatment of asphyxia of newborns in practice of obstetrics and gynecology. L. S. Persianinov — one of founders of use of cybernetic methods of a research with use of the COMPUTER in obstetrics and gynecology.
For a cycle of works on antenatal prevention of incidence and mortality it is conferred the State award USSR; for the monograph «Asphyxia of a Fruit and Newborn» — awards of V. F. Snegirev of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences (1962); for the management «Operational gynecology» — the diploma of the I degree of M3 of the USSR and an award of V. S. Gruzdev of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences (1972). Many of his pupils head departments of obstetrics and gynecology.
L. S. Persianinov for many years was a member of presidium of academic medical council of M3 of the USSR, the chairman Vsesoyuznogo about-va obstetricians-gynecologists (since 1961), Scientific council on obstetrics and gynecology of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences (since 1976), the vice-president of the International federation of obstetricians-gynecologists (1967 — 1970), the member of editorial board and the editor-in-chief of a redotdel «Obstetrics and gynecology» of BME. It was the honorary member of a row scientific medical about-in foreign countries, honourable doctor Budapeshtsky un-that.
It is awarded by the Orders of Lenin (two), October Revolutions, the Red Star and medals.
