PERSHIN Grigory Nikolaevich (sort. in 1908) — the Soviet pharmacologist, the member correspondent of AMH (1961), the winner of the State award USSR (1951). The member of the CPSU since 1951.
In 1929 ended medical f-t of the 2nd MSU. Since 1932 the research associate, and since 1947 the head of laboratory of chemotherapy of infectious diseases All-Union scientific is, sledovatelsky chemical and pharmaceutical in-that of
S. Ordzhonikidze (VNIHFI); at the same time (1951 — 1971) deputy directors of it in-that on scientific work. In 1950 protected dokt, the thesis about influence of antibacterial and chemotherapeutic agents on bacterial enzymes and was entitled professor. In 1953 — 1974 headed Pharmacological committee M3 of the USSR.
G. N. Pershin is the author of St. 500 scientific works, including monographs on chemotherapy of viral infections and the textbook of pharmacology, and also 50 inventions (in a co-authorship with employees of VNIHFI). The main researches are devoted to hl. obr. to search and creation of new drugs for treatment of viral, bacterial, protozoan and fungal diseases, to studying of action of germicides at the cellular level, in particular on fermental systems of a microbic cell, development of new pilot models. G. N. Pershin and staff of the laboratory run by it more than 60 chemotherapeutic drugs and new dosage forms for treatment inf are offered. diseases (bonafton, Florenalum, Aminochinolum, Trichomonacidum, Ftivazidum, Saluzidum, Phthazinum, Diocidum, depot streptocides, etc.). For development of drugs for treatment of intestinal infections it is conferred the State award USSR.
G. N. Pershin is board member Vsesoyuznogo about-va pharmacologists, the head of section of chemotherapy of Vsesoyuzny about-va microbiologists and epidemiologists, the editor-in-chief of the Pharmacology and Toxicology magazine, the editor redotdet «Pharmacology» of BME.
«the sign of Honour» (twice), Friendship of the people and medals is awarded by awards of the Labour Red Banner, the Red Star.
