OSCILLOGRAPHY ARTERIAL — graphic registration of the oscillatory processes removed from arterial vessels.

Lake and. it is used for exact definition of the ABP. At the same time fluctuations of a vascular wall are transmitted through the fabrics surrounding them on blood pressure cuffs. Registration of fluctuations on recorders depending on the used sensors is carried out in various ways. At interpretation of the received oscillograms take into account three points — for definition of the systolic, average and diastolic ABP. ABP take for systolic (at O. by Serkin's method) the moment of the first spasmodic increase in oscillations on the ascending part of the curve oscillogram (at pressure decrease in a cuff). When spasmodic increase in amplitude is not shown, ABP take the moment of emergence on the oscillogram of the expressed negative tooth for systolic. The average of the ABP is established on the greatest oscillation. ABP take pressure in a cuff corresponding to the moment of spasmodic reduction of size of oscillation on the descending part of the oscillogram (fig. 1) for diastolic. On the oscillogram define also oscillographic index, to-rogo take the highest oscillation measured in millimeters for size.

There is a number of devices for measurement of the ABP in the graphic way. Exact and objective registration of one of the main hemodynamic indicators (systolic and the ABP diastolic level) is the main requirement to these devices. For the purpose of increase in accuracy of measurement of H. N. Savitsky offered the differential O. called by it a takhoostsillografiya. Takhoostsillogramma reflects the speed of change of volume of fabric under a cuff. For registration of a tacho oscillogram special pulse manometers, to-rye steel are offered by a fundamental unit of the mechanocardiograph (see. Mekhanokardiografiya ). On a takhoostsillogramma the side, or piezoelectric pressure (fig. 2) in addition is defined.

Record and the analysis of a takhoostsillogramma can be made by means of a sphygmograph (see. Sfigmografiya ), when record of pulse fluctuations, and also method is carried out pletizmografiya (see) when changes of volume of the explored areas of a body are registered.

There are also other ways of an arterial oscillography when registration of the volume pulse which is written down by means of a cuff from distal department of extremities is carried out along with a gradual compression or a decompression of proximal department of the same extremity. The point of the beginning of reduction of arterial oscillations characterizes the diastolic pressure, and a point of total disappearance of oscillations — systolic arterial pressure.

Arterial O. is applied to diagnosis of hypertensia and hypotension of various origin, at inspection of patients with an idiopathic hypertensia, neurocirculatory dystonia, with obliterating diseases of arteries of extremities, with coarctation of an aorta, etc. Oscillographic inspection allows to reveal increase in the average ABP (higher than 90 mm of mercury.) at patients with the so-called latent hypertensia, at to-rykh at tonometry the ABP normal values were determined by Korotkov by an auskultativny method.

At the patients suffering from an obliterating endarteritis the expressed decrease in an oscillographic index comes to light, as a rule. The form of pulse oscillations gives the chance to judge extent of disturbances of passability of the main vessels of extremities. At coarctation of an aorta the considerable difference in sizes ABP on hands and legs is defined (standing — lower the ABP, than on hands) that especially clearly comes to light at an arterial oscillography.
