MERKURIMETRIYA (Latin mercurius mercury + grech, metreo to measure, measure) — a quantitative method of definition of chlorides, bromides, cyanides, rhodanates and other connections by titration of the studied solutions, including and biol, liquids, solution of salt of bivalent mercury (titration by solution of salt of monovalent mercury — a merkurometriya is applied in kliniko-biochemical laboratories seldom); most often for titration use solution of mercuric nitrate in the presence of indicators — Sodium nitroprussidum, a difenilkarbazid, diphenylcarbazone, etc. — see.
