IMIPHOSUM (Imiphosum; synonym Marcophanum, joint venture. A) — antineoplastic means. Диэтиленимид-2-метил-тиазолидо-3-фосфорной acids; With 8 H 16 N 3 OSP:

White crystal powder, easily water soluble and alcohol, is hygroscopic. Drug of the alkylating action, interacts with DNA of kernels of tumor cells.

And. apply at treatment of patients polycythemia (see). Drug is shown to patients in the II stage of a disease and in cases of resistance to radioactive phosphorus. Relatively the hypotoxicity of drug allows to apply it and in out-patient conditions. Administer the drug intravenously or intramusculary every other day in the form of the solution containing 0,05 g And.: drug is dissolved in 10 — 20 ml of isotonic solution of sodium chloride just before introduction. At bystry decrease in quantity of leukocytes in blood intervals between injections increase up to 2 — 4 days. General dose And. on a course of treatment on average 0,5 — 0,65 g. The therapeutic effect begins to be shown in 1,5 — 2 months and is observed completely in 3 months from an initiation of treatment.

Kliniko-gematol. remission under action And. can last for years. At a recurrence of a disease conduct repeated courses in the same doses, but not earlier, than in 6 months after the termination of the first course. Blood test during treatment is made at least two weekly, and after the termination of a course of treatment — once in 10 — 15 days within 3 months.

Drug is usually well transferred by patients, but can cause leucio-and thrombocytopenia; then it is cancelled and appoint stimulators of a leukopoiesis (leucogenum, pentoxyl or other), hemotransfusion, leukocyte or trombotsitny weight. And. it is contraindicated to patients with sharp exhaustion and anemia, at a leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, heart failure, diseases of a liver and kidneys.

Form of release: the bottletight bottles or ampoules containing 0,05 g

of I. Hranyat in the dark cool place.
