GNOYNO-REZORBTIVNAYA FEVER (synonym: toksiko-resorptive fever, wound intoxication, suppurative fever) — the syndrome caused by absorption of toxic decomposition products of fabrics at a purulent inflammation. The term is offered by I. V. Davydovsky in

1944 - river of l. accompanies the majority of types of a purulent inflammation. The centers of absorption along with a zone of defeat are purulent flow also pockets; existence in a zone of an inflammation of fabric sequesters — the smashed muscles, sinews, fastion, splinters of bones and foreign bodys promotes G.'s development - river of l. In these cases process of a resorption since considerable distribution and accumulation of pus in fabric spaces does not manage to be delimited by the granulyatsionny shaft interfering absorption is most expressed. The resorption occurs lymphogenous and hematogenous in the ways.

In G.'s development - river of l. the main role is played by absorption of proteinaceous products of fabric disintegration and toxins of bacteria.

At the same time with absorption of toxic products at G. - river of l. quite often there is a big loss to pus of proteins, enzymes, electrolytes that leads to development traumatic exhaustion (see) also aggravates a condition of patients.

Severity of G. - river of l. corresponds to expressiveness and distribution of suppurative process. With elimination of a suppurative focus if in an organism there were no irreversible changes, also G.'s symptoms - river of l are liquidated. This G. - river of l. differs from sepsis — the general disease, manifestation to-rogo depend on primary center few and, despite its elimination, remain. At sepsis (see) expressiveness of the general symptoms and temperature reaction can not correspond to extent of changes in the center of a purulent inflammation. Besides, unlike sepsis, G. is river of l. — not so heavy process is also not followed by a high lethality.

Basic wedge. G.'s manifestation - river of l. temperature reaction, character and degree of manifestation a cut is are various and do not differ in specificity. At long (weeks and months) G.'s current - river of l. changes from internals are observed, traumatic exhaustion develops, cachexia (see). Changes of internals are expressed by intersticial hepatitis, colitis, up to ulcer and necrotic, a splenomegaly, the atrophy of endocrine glands — adrenal glands, a thyroid gland develops. In kidneys the phenomena of intersticial nephrite, in lungs — quite often pneumonia, heart attacks, abscesses develop.

Prevention and G.'s treatment - river of l. come down first of all to the correct and timely surgical treatment of purulent process: to correctly executed primary to surgical treatment of a wound (see) and to timely opening of abscesses, purulent zatek and pockets or removal of the center of a purulent inflammation (see. Wounds, wounds ).

Against the background of the carried-out surgical treatment, the center of a purulent inflammation directed to elimination, Disintoxication therapy — hemotransfusion, proteinaceous drugs is used. salt solutions, blood substitutes of Disintoxication action (Haemodesum, Neocompensanum), the directed antibiotic treatment etc.
