FYODOROV Nikolay Aleksandrovich (1904 — 1983) is the Soviet pathophysiologist, the academician of AMH (1963).
In 1926 ended medical f-t Voronezh un-that. Worked under the leadership of A. A. Bogomolts at Medicobiological institute in Moscow. From 1928 to 1983 — in the Central scientific research institute of hematology and hemotransfusion. Since 1933 the manager. laboratory of pathological physiology of it in-that. In 1940 protected dokt. the thesis on «To a Question of the Mechanism of Action of a Hemotransfusion» was also entitled professor. Along with 1930 for 1938 conducted pedagogical work at department pathologists of the h the EU to about y physiology of the 2nd MMI. Departments of pathological physiology in Moscow medical dental in-those were one of initiators of the organization in 1943 and directed it till 1975. From 1968 to 1976 the academician-secretary of Department of medicobiological sciences of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences.
N. A. Fedorov is an author more than 250 scientific works devoted to problems of hemotransfusion, parenteral food, nervous and humoral control of a hemopoiesis, a pathogeny and an immunotherapy of heavy thermal burns.
N. A. Fedorov developed A. A. Bogomolts's theory explaining medical effect of the transfused blood and the mechanism of posttransfusion complications.
It obtained the direct evidence of education in the burned skin of the high-molecular proteinaceous toxin having autoantigenny properties (see Autoantigens). These works formed the basis for use in clinic of immune serum of burn convalescents for treatment of patients in a toxic phase of a burn disease (see Burns).
N. A. Fedorov created blood substitutes (see. Blood-substituting liquids) which found application in clinical practice during the Great Patriotic War — salt infuzin (TsOLIPK), anesthesia-but-antishock liquid, serot-transfuzin (together with P. S. Vasilyev), colloid infuzin (together with P. S. Vasilyev and M. A. Lisitsyn). The participant of development of domestic drugs of a dextran — Polyglucinum and a reopoli-glyukin.
N. A. Fedorov was an editor of a redotdel «Pathology and morphology» of the 2nd prod. BME, deputy editor-in-chief of a redotdel «Pathological physiology» of the 3rd prod. BME, editor-in-chief of the «Pathological Physiology and Experimental Therapy» magazine.
N. A. Fedorov was a member of presidium of board All-Union medical scientific about-va pathophysiologists, the chairman of Committee on medicobiological sciences of Academic medical council of M3 of the USSR, many years headed the All-Union commission on a problem of leukoses.
It is awarded by two awards of the Labour Red Banner, the award «Sign of Honour» and medals.
