FIBROMYOMA (fibromyoma; lat. fibra fiber - j-myoma) — the term most often applied to designation of a hysteromyoma. The vast majority of hysteromyomas contains, especially in large and old nodes, various amount of connecting fabric, edge locally or diffuzno extend I among smooth tumor cells, and surrounds their bunches or knotty accumulations more often. From gisto-genetic positions the term «fibromyoma» is inexact since fibrosis in myoma has secondary character.
