ELECTROELIMINATION

From Big Medical Encyclopedia

ELECTROELIMINATION [electro-(from «electricity») + to take out eliminare for a threshold, to delete] — removal from an organism through the unimpaired skin of ions and other charged particles by means of direct electric current. Practical value of a method is small because because of low speed of movement of charged particles and bad conductivity of connecting, fatty tissue and epidermis the amount of the removed substances are not enough.
