CONCEPTION in the medicolegal relation — the beginning of formation and development of a new organism after connection of the ripened ovum with a spermatozoon. In court. - medical practice ability to 3 is defined., its fact and term.

Ability of the woman to 3. first of all decides by the age development of generative organs allowing a possibility of commission of normal sexual intercourse on condition of functioning of ovaries on existence ovulations (see) and the subsequent approach of periods (see. Menstrual cycle ). The periods are one of important signs puberty (see), appears at the age of 13 — 14 years (sometimes in the period from 10 to 16) and proceeds before the termination of an ovulation. The ovulation normal precedes periods, however separate cases 3 are observed. before emergence of the first periods at not reached puberty. 3. can occur also at the wrong structure of external genitals (a false men's hermaphroditism), the incomplete sexual intercourse (at an ejaculation of semen in an entrance of the vagina), at unimpaired to a hymen (see). Definition of ability to 3. it is made at examination of puberty, establishment of a true floor and hearing of cases about divorce in connection with infertility (see). 3. is a sign of the beginning pregnancies (see), has expert value in court. - medical practice at investigation of cases of sexual crimes: rape, dissolute actions concerning minors, disturbance of sexual integrity of the persons which did not reach puberty. Time of approach 3. has expert value and in cases of a so-called doubtful paternity (see. doubtful paternity ). For permission of this question the expert determines term 3. on the term of the occurred childbirth, degree of a maturity and a donoshennost of the baby by the time of childbirth on the basis of the objective data specified in medical documents of maternity hospital, women's and children's consultation. Exact determination of term 3., however, it is not always possible since duration of the pregnancy which ended with the birth of the mature full-term child can be more or less than its usual term.

In a climacteric, a thicket later there are 45 years, 3. does not occur in connection with the termination of an ovulation. The reason of inability to 3. there can be various diseases of generative organs: malformations of outside and internal generative organs, patol, processes in the field of a basin and the lower extremities, inflammatory diseases of internal generative organs, tumors, disturbances: functions of hemadens, hron, infections and intoxications, operative measures (removal of a uterus, ovaries, uterine tubes) etc.

For establishment of inability of the woman to 3. careful inspection, sometimes in stationary conditions is necessary.
