COATES DISEASE (G. Coats, English ophthalmologist, 1876 — 1915; synonym outside exudative retinitis) — an unknown etiology the retinitis which is observed at persons of young age, characterized by availability of exudate between periblasts of a retina and a choroid and hemorrhages on the surface of a retina — see.
