ANTIBACTERIOLOGICAL PROTECTION (PBZ) — a complex of the organizational, anti-epidemic, sanitary and hygienic and medical and evacuation actions directed to the prevention of emergence and spread of infectious diseases among staff of troops, the population, farm animals and plants at use by the opponent of bacteriological (biological) weapon. Protection of people includes: preventive vaccination against a row inf. diseases; carrying out bacterial. investigations, observation and the notification for the danger warning of defeat bacterial. means; specific indication of causative agents of the diseases applied by the opponent; use individual means of protection (see) and collective means of protection (see); emergency prevention of diseases; disinfection, disinsection, deratization; holding restrictive actions (observation, quarantine); organization of medical aid and treatment of struck; establishment of the anti-epidemic mode at stages of medical evacuation.
