ALL-UNION CONGRESS OF DISTRICT DOCTORS — the congress of the Soviet doctors which was taking place in Moscow on December 8 — 15, 1925.

The congress summed up the results of work of bodies of health care on strengthening of rural network and planned ways and perspectives of its further development, theoretically proved and planned practical ways to implementation of the principle of «unity» to lay down. and prof. of medicine.

In addition to the report of the national commissioner of health care of N. A. Semashko «Matter of health care in the USSR and its tasks», at a congress was heard a number of reports on rural health care: «Preventive bases of medical business in the village», «Condition of rural network and its task», «Health care in the national republics and areas», «Organization of sanitary business», «Immediate tasks in improvement of the village», «Tasks of protection of motherhood and infancy in the village», «Tasks of health protection of children and teenagers in the village», etc. A number of reports concerned questions of the organization and financing of rural health care, fight against tuberculosis and venereal diseases, the organization of the medicinal help, sanitary education. The speech at a congress was made by M. I. Kalinin.
