ABULADZE Kalenik Sardionovich (1897 — 1972) is the Soviet physiologist, the member correspondent of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences (1952).
In 1925 ended VMA (Leningrad). Till 1932 — the medical officer. Since 1932 — the research associate of department of physiology, and then the manager. laboratory of physiology and pathology of century of N of. Ying-that experimental medicine of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences (Leningrad) where worked till last days lives. Participant of the Soviet-Finnish war of 1939 — 1940 and Great Patriotic War of 1941 — 1945.
Under the leadership of I. P. Pavlov he studied patterns of physiology of century of N of, in particular disturbances of a course of nervous processes in a cerebral cortex under the influence of destruction of visual, acoustical and olfactory receptors. K. S. Abuladze developed original methodical receptions for a research of conditional and unconditional lacrimation at dogs: 1) operation of removal outside of openings of channels of the lacrimal glands on both sides; 2) operation of removal outside of symmetric sites of a back third of language with preservation of nerves and the main blood vessels. The first reception gave the chance to study function of dacryagogue at dogs under the influence of various irritations of a mucous membrane of an eye, and also under the influence of food and defensive conditioned and instinctive reflexes; the second reception allowed to study distribution of process of excitement on c. N of page by means of irritation of one party of language food and various chemical substances and registration of conditional and unconditional salivation from one and other party.
